Developed and overseen by the University of Michigan-Flint Psychology Department, this five day program teaches preschoolers about personal body safety, particularly sexual abuse issues.
The program uses role-playing, large picture cards, and interaction between the students and the teacher. Children learn the difference between appropriate and inappropriate touches and what to do if they have been touched or know someone who has been touched. Most importantly, they learn that inappropriate touching is NEVER their fault.
This program is conducted at child care facilities and preschools. Each session is approximately 45 minutes long.
