FLINT, Michigan — In a jailhouse phone call made three days after 9-year-old Shylae Thomas’ body was found stuffed in a plastic tub in a storage unit, her adoptive mother said she was not a “murderer” and said she had planned on eventually burying the quadriplegic girl’s body.
