By Kristin Longley September 22, 2009FLINT, Mich. -- The number of Flint teenage women having babies more than tripled from 2006 to 2008, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Newly released estimates show that for every 1,000 women who had a baby in 2008, 144 of them were between the ages of 15 and 19. That's compared to 41 in the same age group in 2006. In the same time period, the population of students 3 years and older enrolled in school (from nursery school all the way up to college) dropped by about 14 percent, from 34,038 enrolled in 2006 to 29,130 in 2008.
