FLINT, Michigan -- A former Flint elementary school teacher accused of having sex with a 12-year-old student won't see any jail time or even have to pay bond -- at least for the time being. Allanah Benton-Wells, 42, was arraigned Tuesday on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to life in prison, for allegedly having sex with a sixth-grade boy when she was supposed to be helping him with his homework.
